Like a princely sun, the Reverend Lord of Dharma, I take the dust of the feet of the glorious Lama upon my head. The qualities of your body, speech, and mind, The Buddhas and Bodhisattvas abiding in the ten directions cannot fully express, Yet, I will offer a slight praise with faith, Please listen. Woven from praises of the ocean of qualities, Like a garland of flowers, adorning the throat of the wise. This precious thing that increases the merit of faith, I now accomplish, may the wise be pleased. The clouds of merit you have well accumulated, Are a rain that increases the goodness of those to be tamed. Proclaiming a deep, vast, and pleasant thunderous sound, Like the glorious Lama, the lord of clouds. Freely controlling many hundreds of thousands of Samadhis, Manifestly striving in composing, practicing, and attaining. The Lord of Yoga, the chief of all Mantras and Sciences, The glorious Lama, the crown jewel of beings. In the past, at Vajrasana (Bodh Gaya), To the Victorious Ones, offering one hundred and eight crystal rosaries, Generating the mind of enlightenment, Becoming fortunate to realize the correct view. I supplicate at the feet of the glorious Lama. From the age of seven, the Reverend Lord of Secrets (Vajrapani), And the great chariot, the glorious Lamp (Atisha), Seeing them directly and constantly being upheld, Mantras and the Paramita teachings dawned as instructions. Like the color of Indra's sapphire, deeply blue, Possessing a web of five beautiful rays, In the center of perfect roundness, Manjushri, Seeing him directly, the Reverend Lord of Dharma. From then on, the Reverend One is a treasure of wisdom, Seeing the glorious Guhyasamaja (Secret Assembly) as desired, And constantly hearing the profound meaning of the Prajnaparamita teachings, The Dharma Lord like a prince. 【English Translation】 With hands in the teaching Dharma mudra, holding scriptures and a fly-whisk, O Compassionate Protector abiding in a posture of auspiciousness! Like the Sugata (Buddha) who once again manifested the ten powers, You are prophesied to accomplish the deeds of the Buddhas. I supplicate at the feet of the glorious Lama! The teacher of gods and humans, King Shakya, The Medicine Buddha and the guide Amitābha! Shining brilliantly in the midst of an ocean-like assembly, O Son of the Buddhas, Dharma Lord, whom we directly behold! I supplicate at the feet of the glorious Lama! Source of attainments, venerable Tara, Uṣṇīṣavijayā and the noble Mārīcī! Sitatapatra who dispels all obstacles, and others, Clearly seeing all the higher deities! I supplicate at the feet of the glorious Lama!
