【English Translation】 Collection of Teachings by Je Tsongkhapa JTs120: Sadhana of Goddess Saraswati by Je Tsongkhapa, and the Anujna of the Sadhana of Saraswati. Visualize yourself as Goddess Saraswati, white, like flawless crystal. Outwardly clear inwardly, inwardly clear outwardly, radiating white light. On the center of a thousand-petaled white lotus, seated in a cross-legged posture on a spotless lunar disc. Hair soft and smooth, black as a bee. With a slight topknot, bound with a garland of white flowers. The rest of the hair hangs down the back, adorned with various jewels. The gold nose ornament is inlaid with various jewels, beautifully adorning the cheeks. The crown, necklace, pendant, bracelets, and anklets are made of various jewels, producing a pleasant tinkling sound. Appearing as a sixteen-year-old maiden, in the prime of youth. Breasts firm and full, arousing pleasure upon touch. Full of amorous charm, leaning to the left, with eyes glancing sideways. Wearing a 'kadzalika' upper garment and a lower garment adorned with clusters of flowers. Adorned with a beautiful garland of white lotus flowers, both hands holding aloft a thousand-stringed blue lapis lazuli lute, delighting and captivating the minds of all beings, including gods, gandharvas, and vidyadharas. Visualize a spotless lunar disc on the crown of the head. Mentally raise the downward-pointing Hrīḥ (藏文：ཧྲཱིཿ，梵文天城體：ह्रीः，梵文羅馬擬音：hrīḥ，漢語字面意思：Great Compassion) syllable at its heart, so that eight petals spread outwards, forming an eight-petaled white lotus. The petals are white and soft, the center is greenish-yellow, and the stamens are surrounded by reddish-yellow. From the boundary of the stamens, rays of light radiate like a thousand suns. Above the center, on a spotless, full lunar disc, the essence of the mind is a white Hrīḥ (藏文：ཧྲཱིཿ，梵文天城體：ह्रीः，梵文羅馬擬音：hrīḥ，漢語字面意思：Great Compassion) syllable, long like a crescent moon, with a nada. Starting from the front of the petals, arrange the sixteen vowels clockwise. Two letters reside on each petal. All are clear and transparent like flawless crystal, radiating pure white light, shining but not touching the seat.

【現代漢語翻譯】 མ། (Ma)字稍微顫動，伴隨著由種子字ཡེ་(ye)和輪組成的光網，驅散心中所有的黑暗。從心輪的文字中，光芒從右鼻孔發出，從南方海邊迎請本尊女神及其眷屬，供養安住在前方的虛空中。唸誦ཨོཾ་སྭ་ར་སྭ་སྟི་ཧྲི་ད་ཡ་ཏིཥྛ་ཧྲཱིཾཿ(Om svara svasti hri daya tistha hrim)，使誓言尊的身語意融入智慧尊的身語意，觀修無二無別。身體的觀想不要離開，繼續觀修，從心間的ཧྲཱིཾཿ(Hrim)字中，發出如珍珠項鍊般的ཧྲཱིཾཿ(Hrim)，從口中出來，從臍部進入，融入心間的ཧྲཱིཾཿ(Hrim)字。由此發出光芒照耀十方，從十方召集諸佛菩薩、聲聞緣覺、成就者、班智達、持明者、仙人、珍寶、藥物、甘露等一切的威力、能力、智慧、功德之集合，融入心輪的文字中，觀修對於一切所知，智慧無礙地增長。儘可能地念誦ཧྲཱིཾཿ(Hrim)，唸誦的驗相是比以前口齒伶俐，記憶清晰，理解力增強，年輕女子給予食物、衣服和念珠，出現日月升起，吞食酥油燈等真實的或夢中的徵兆。唸誦的數量是五十萬遍等，或者直到出現上述徵兆為止。元音字母是：ཨ་ཨཱ།(a ā) ཨི་ཨཱི།(i ī) ཨུ་ཨཱུ།(u ū) རྀ་རཱྀ།(ṛ ṝ) ལྀ་ལཱྀ།(ḷ ḹ) ཨེ་ཨཱཻ།(e ai) ཨོ་ཨཽ།(o au) ཨཾ་ཨཿ།(aṃ aḥ) 對妙音佛母的修法進行隨許：敬禮妙音天女語自在！此處欲修持語調之天女妙音佛母之修法，故於適意之處安坐于舒適之座，皈依，修四無量心，為成就佛果，故思念修持語調天女妙音佛母，以 स्वाभाव (svabhāva) 咒語觀想諸法皆空。于空性中，由 པཾ (pam) 字生蓮花，由 ཨ་ (a) 字生月輪，于其上，自心性為白色ཧྲཱིཿ(Hrim)字，放光供養聖眾，利益有情后收回，完全轉變，自身成為妙音天女，身色白色，一面二臂，具有微笑之光彩，以喜悅之眼神注視著撥動琵琶，頭髮束成髮髻，以白色鮮花之花鬘束縛，搖曳的鈴鐺上搖動著無數的金鈴。
【English Translation】 Ma. Slightly trembling, the net of light with the syllable ཡེ་(ye) and the wheel dispels all the darkness of the heart. From the letters of the heart wheel, light emanates from the right nostril, inviting the goddess and her retinue from the southern seashore, offering to those who reside in the sky in front. By reciting ཨོཾ་སྭ་ར་སྭ་སྟི་ཧྲི་ད་ཡ་ཏིཥྛ་ཧྲཱིཾཿ(Om svara svasti hri daya tistha hrim), the body, speech, and mind of the samaya being dissolve into the body, speech, and mind of the wisdom being, meditate on being inseparable. Meditate without separating from the visualization of the body, and from the ཧྲཱིཾཿ(Hrim) in the heart, ཧྲཱིཾཿ(Hrim) like a pearl necklace emerges from the mouth, enters from the navel, and dissolves into the ཧྲཱིཾཿ(Hrim) in the heart. From that, light radiates in ten directions, gathering all the power, ability, wisdom, and qualities of the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, Siddhas, Panditas, Vidyadharas, Sages, Jewels, Medicines, Nectars, etc., of the ten directions, dissolving into the letters of the heart wheel, meditating on the unobstructed increase of intelligence in all that is knowable. Recite the mantra of ཧྲཱིཾཿ(Hrim) as much as possible, and the signs of accomplishment are that the tongue is more fluent than before, the memory is clearer, the retention is better, and young girls give food, clothes, and rosaries, and the sun and moon rise, and eating butter lamps, etc., appear as real signs or in dreams. The recitation should be five hundred thousand times or until the above signs appear. The vowels are: ཨ་ཨཱ།(a ā) ཨི་ཨཱི།(i ī) ཨུ་ཨཱུ།(u ū) རྀ་རཱྀ།(ṛ ṝ) ལྀ་ལཱྀ།(ḷ ḹ) ཨེ་ཨཱཻ།(e ai) ཨོ་ཨཽ།(o au) ཨཾ་ཨཿ།(aṃ aḥ) An അനുജ്ഞಾ (anujñā, permission) for the Sadhana of Sarasvati: Homage to Vagishvari Sarasvati! Here, desiring to practice the Sadhana of Sarasvati, the goddess of melodious sound, sit in a comfortable seat in a pleasant place, take refuge, cultivate the four immeasurables, and think of practicing Sarasvati, the goddess of melodious sound, for the sake of attaining Buddhahood. Meditate on all dharmas as empty with the स्वाभाव (svabhāva) mantra. From emptiness, from པཾ (pam) arises a lotus, from ཨ་ (a) arises a moon mandala, and upon it, one's own mind-essence is a white ཧྲཱིཾཿ(Hrim), radiating light, offering to the noble ones, benefiting sentient beings, and then gathering back, completely transforming, oneself becomes the goddess Sarasvati, with a white body, one face, two arms, with a smiling radiance, gazing with joyful eyes at the playing of the lute, the hair tied in a topknot, bound with a garland of white flowers, with countless golden bells jingling on the swaying bells.

【English Translation】 Visualize: Holding a lute made of blue lapis lazuli, with a thousand strings, the right hand plucking the strings, involuntarily attracting the minds of gods, gandharvas, and all beings. Adorned with various jewels and silks, wearing a 'Katzalika' (a type of garment) top and bottom, decorated with strings of white lotuses. Possessing the youthful figure of a sixteen-year-old girl, with full breasts that bring comfort upon touch. Full of amorous gestures, leaning to the left. Seated cross-legged on a lotus moon seat, marked on the crown of the head by a halo of the moon. Then, turn one's heart upwards, dividing it into eight petals, From the yellow-green center of the eight-petaled white lotus, and the area surrounded by red and yellow stamens, radiate rays of light like a thousand suns, dispelling the darkness in the heart. On the moon circle in the center of the lotus, visualize one's own mind as the essence of Saraswati, in the form of the syllable 'Hrih (藏文：ཧྲཱིཿ，梵文天城體：ह्रीः，梵文羅馬擬音：hrīḥ，漢語字面意思：Great Kind)'. Starting from the front of the 'Hrih (藏文：ཧྲཱིཿ，梵文天城體：ह्रीः，梵文羅馬擬音：hrīḥ，漢語字面意思：Great Kind)' syllable, visualize the vowels encircling it clockwise, in the form of sixty vocal sounds. Imagine the consciousness together with luminosity, remaining just above the seat, not yet touching it. Then, from the letters in the heart radiate light, sensing that the goddess resides by the ocean, thereby stimulating her compassion, and invite her into the space in front. Offer with offerings such as 'Argham (藏文：ཨརྒྷཾ，梵文天城體：अर्घं，梵文羅馬擬音：arghaṃ，漢語字面意思：Water)'. After praising, merge into oneself, becoming non-dual. Block the left nostril and exhale slightly. In this state, recite as much as possible. Visualize a string of pearls emerging from the 'Hrih (藏文：ཧྲཱིཿ，梵文天城體：ह्रीः，梵文羅馬擬音：hrīḥ，漢語字面意思：Great Kind)' syllable, and the light entering from the navel chakra, combining with the compassion and activities (藏文：ལས་，梵文天城體：कर्म，梵文羅馬擬音：karma，漢語字面意思：Action) of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Visualize entering through the left nostril, inhaling slightly. The wisdom of gods and sages, the power and realization of mantra-holding accomplished ones (藏文：གྲུབ་པ་，梵文天城體：सिद्ध，梵文羅馬擬音：siddha，漢語字面意思：Accomplished One), the wisdom and compassion of panditas, and the essence and power of the syllables, all enter the navel chakra, merging into the 'Hrih (藏文：ཧྲཱིཿ，梵文天城體：ह्रीः，梵文羅馬擬音：hrīḥ，漢語字面意思：Great Kind)' syllable in the heart, and visualize it continuously rotating. Meditate in this way, reciting up to five hundred thousand times. At the end, invite the goddess to the front, praise and offer as you know how, and then pray to her for the desires you wish to fulfill. Conclude with dedication and aspiration, and finally merge the goddess into yourself. If the visualization becomes clear and strong desire arises, then transcend it with non-discriminating wisdom.
